Here are some of my go-to art prompts when I have no idea what to draw:
- Combine an ancient symbol with a dragon or a horse and make an epic illustration
- Pick a random word and draw what you think it would look like
- Redesign and paint over your favorite book cover
- Draw out characters from a book in detail
- Walk around and draw from life
- If you have Pinterest, pick an image at random and draw that
- Design your dream house
- Paint a giant mural of something you love
- Turn the elements into animals
- Humanize animal characters. What would they look like?
